The Commander-in-chief of the Malaysian Armed Forces is the highest-ranking office in the command structure of the Malaysian military. [Article 41 of] the Malaysian Constitution establishes that the office of Supreme Commander is attached to the person of the Federal Head of State, Yang di-Pertuan Agong. His standard as Commander-in-chief, is consisting of three equal horizontal stripes of sky blue, red and blue, encircled by five gold five-pointed stars.

Chief of the Defence Forces

Flag of the Chief of the Defence Forces is the professional head of the Malaysian Armed Forces and the most senior uniformed military adviser to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong (King of Malaysia), the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defence. This is the highest rank in Malaysia Armed Forces only after the Federal Head of State. Flag of the Chief of the Defence Forces has three equal horizontal stripes of sky blue, red and blue, with four gold five-pointed stars.
